This tiara represents a reflection upon my personal outlook on socialability. The concept focuses on how I perceive myself and my interactions with social attention. The design is intentionally contradictory, symbolizing the give-and-take dynamic of attraction. While the tiara has a strong silouette with bright color detail, grabbing your attention, it simultaneously deflects the attention away from the wearer. The mirrors reflect back to the viewer, the acrylic is transparent directing your attention through the material, and the base color is black rather than a bright outstanding visual. The process includes glass cutting, aluminum anodizing, acrylic bending and heating, and riveting to assemble.
