The Irridescelamp concept comes from the design and silhouette of a candelabra. The idea was to create a flowy design able to interact with the viewer and captivate the room. The materials utilized include acrylic tubing, used for the arms which allow light to shine through, as well as acrylic sheet bringing a rainbow iridescent color to the base. Materials also include copper tubing for the base, allowing wires to run through each arcylic opening, and a wooded base. The process included heating and bending acrylic, laser cutting, wood carving, and metal processes such as a dark patina.
